I'm having the best time going through old photos today! So these photos are from Lynn and Dan's wedding...I'm guessing 2004? Seems like longer than 5 years ago. But these are some scans (bad ones) from their proofs- these are all film. Mary shot digital that day I think, but these are all mine and I shot film at the time- I was a bit late to jump to digital. Anyway- looking at these photos- I shot way to much cross processed, but it's kind of cool-- and I must have just bought a fish eye lens because there are a ton of fisheye shots. Still though- I like these images, seem kind of timeless even with all the cross processing and fish eye usage :)
Mostly what I remember about this day though is that I was sick- like all congested and couldn't breathe so I stopped and got some sudafed and benadryl and took them both. By the time the ceremony was over I was so dried out and was dying of thirst, but we needed to do a few portraits. Well- for whatever reason we had brought a bottle of wine for them to open to have in the photos (??? seemed like a fun idea at the time) and it was broiling hot since it had been sititng in the car the whole day. I couldn't get back into the church after the photos so I drank that broiling hot wine...it was so bad, but I was so thirsty that I couldn't help it!
Also- I think was the first time we worked with Bob Ridge!
If you happen to run across this Lynn and Dan- hope you are both well!
